As for speed walking, jumping jacks and jump rope, they are all effective cardiovascular exercises. Of course they not only expend calories, but they get the heart pumping as well. Do you think you can handle that? The trick with workouts for beginners is starting small. Do a small amount of reps and numbers to start and then steadily add to the number.
